Get ready for merch! Our all-new T-shirt design features an updated “Harpy” to commemorate this year’s Spring Harp Fest. Purchase yours with or without the artist lineup. Catch these at the Harp Fest vendor table before we sell out; we offer limited quantities in teal, orange, gray, black and cream. We are also testing out demand for women’s sizes (vs. unisex) — with bright turquoise tees and muted periwinkle tank tops. All shirts are just $20 each at the festival.
In the mood for something else? We also offer hats, drink koozies, necklaces, and harmonicas.

Catch a ride to the Harp Fest April 4!

Thanks to our sponsor, Bright EV of La Jolla, fans of Spring Harp Fest can take the trolley, or park and ride! Spring Harp Fest will provide golf carts to ferry folks from the Amaya Drive Trolley Station in La Mesa to Harry Griffen Park. Rides start at 10:30 and run every 15 minutes until noon, then will run every 30 minutes from noon until 4 p.m. Following the show, they’ll return people to the station until 7:30 p.m., unless there are no remaining riders.

Join the Harp Fest community on Monday, March 9 to get psyched for this year’s festival! Ric Lee will host his annual benefit concert at Tio Leo’s Mexican Cantina from 6 to 10 p.m. Featured artists include two of the acts performing at our annual harmonica music festival, the Blue Healers and Jump Start. Get a preview of their talents, catch up with other friends of the Harp Fest, and splurge on discounted merchandise so you can arrive at the April 9 harmonica festival in style.
You can even grab a great Mexican dinner while you kick the Monday blues. Additional acts include Ric’s own Bayou Brothers, special guest acts, and Brian Jones Rock ‘N’ Roll Revival. The event proudly features the always-popular 50/50 raffle.
Proceeds help us cover costs for holding the free, annual Spring Harp Fest, and help us provide harmonicas and music lessons for kids.

Spring Harp Fest, San Diego’s own annual harmonica music festival, has announced that international artist Brody Buster will headline its free 2026 event. Buster, a child star, earned early acclaim playing with great artists in his childhood, and went on to win the 2017 International Blues Challenge in Memphis. The artist recently released a new album of original work, Redemption, available on most streaming platforms.
The 2026 lineup of local harmonica stars includes Dan McDowell, Mike Maldonado, Harmonica John Frazer, Gonzalo Dremoniz, Troy Sandow, and Billy Watson. Bands include the Blue Healers, The Tradition, Jump Start, and the International Silver String Submarine Band.
Spring Harp Fest will be held Saturday, April 4, from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Harry Griffen Park in La Mesa, CA.
